when prizefighter and nod came out months ago, I recall finding them serviceable but not at all memorable. Expecting more of the same out of the album, but frankly that has been every album since ~appeal to reason.

Why do these titled read like reworkings of past songs
| |
Want it all is different at least
| |
They just don't have the spark anymore unfortunately. Just go listen to Sufferer and the Witness and immediately hear the difference. The energetic and catchy riffs and the desperate lyrics and vocal delivery just aren't there anymore.
| |
Why?
| |
These make the "Wolves" album actually decent...
| |
I'd care if the singles didn't suck. I don't expect them to go back to The Unraveling even with Mr. Dan Precision. (Ha whatta name). But what a badly produced bore of singles that came out.
| |
at least this is a different direction for them. almost like a punk black keys. band is well past peak but it could have been worse
| |
Nod(ding off)
| |
i want it all sounds like it could have been on palms by thrice
but not in a good way
| |
I know Tim had to change his singing style. I can accept that. But I can't accept this goddamn megaphone effect on EVERY song. Who thought it was a good idea to use that AT ALL, let alone across the entire record?!!
| |
Sounds like they've lost their edge. Sounds like a Rise Against cover band at best
| |
New song sounds like the backing track to a bar fight scene in a Tubi biker movie
| |
First it was Give It All and now they want it all. The descriptor punk rock band doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
| |
Woah, they should 100% move in the want it all direction which while see what shart was saying (punk black keys) I hear a bunch of butt rock influence which is weirdly working for them.
| |
Huge RA fan back in the day and TSATW is one of my favorite albums of all time, but this just sounds dull, uninspired and boring. There's no energy anymore. And the vocal effects are just weird.
| |
Production continues to be absolutely terrible on Tim's voice. Either his voice is just completely shot or they need to fire their producers/mixers/engineers.
| |
This band has fallen a long way. If radio rock makes you a living why not I guess.
| |
What the hell are with the vocals on every track. I dont even hate modern Rise Against but these vocals sound so lifeless
