That trailer both looked and sounded like junk food: pleasantly forgettable and bad in excess
|
| |
Agree with EmoQueen, the trailer looked so bad
|
| |
NIN are still a band?
|
| |
At least it's isn't 30 Seconds to Mars.
|
| |
Will this film suck? Eh, probably. Will I still be watching it? Yes, 100%, I'm so happy Tron is back at all. Plus, this basically confirms that NIN are still alive post-Ghosts V and VI, we take that
|
| |
I loved Tron Legacy but this doesn't look anything like that. Bummer.
|
| |
First movie is great, Uprising is superb, Legacy is one of my favorite movies, and NIN is one of my favorite bands
This could be something spectacular, but knowing that this is from Disney, and the guy who made that godawful Maleficient sequel and PotC 5, I'm not very excited about this

You can pretty much expect anything Jared Leto's in to be a C- or lower movie
|
| |
trailer was cool and so was the soundtrack
|
| |
Supposedly 30 Seconds to Mars was doing the music initially, which reeks of back when Will Smith would make a song for every movie he was in.
It's a good enough choice getting "Nine Inch Nails" to do the music this time, reminds me of when the two worked with Halsey for an album and it sounded very "NIN"-ish despite obviously a different direction.
I'm optimistic for the movie, but also am not expecting much

| |
"You can pretty much expect anything Jared Leto's in to be a C- or lower movie"
i've never actually thought about this perspective before but holy shit this is so true lmao
original tron is one of my favorite movies and tron legacy was decent, but gonna echo everyone else here in not expecting much from this one. hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

""You can pretty much expect anything Jared Leto's in to be a C- or lower movie"
Yea pretty much. Fight Club and BR2049 are the 2 exceptions
Trailer for this looks kinda cool tho
|
| |
"You can pretty much expect anything Jared Leto's in to be a C- or lower movie"
Dallas Buyers Club though
|
| |
Requiem for a Dream
|
| |
Lord of War
|
| |
Blade Runner 2049
|
| |
Fight Club sucks, but Denis Villneuve is a genius. Might be the best sci-fi director of all time. I'm not saying he has made the greatest sci-fi movie ever, but that he has directed more great sci-fi films than anyone else.
|
| |
How the fuck did Jared "It's the End of the World and it's a Terrible Album" Leto not only swing the lead role in a 2025 Tron reboot, but ALSO somehow managed to secure playing Skeletor in an upcoming Masters of the Universe movie?
|
| |
He kinda looks like a skeleton, which explains the skeletor thing. He must have an amazing agent though because he seems like a colossal douche and keeps getting roles.
|
| |
Blade Runner 2049 gave this guy an insane level of cred - that's the only explanation that I can think of.
Denis Villneuve lifts as he rises, for better and for worse.
|
| |
I feel like Dallas Buyers Club was what gave him cred seeing how he won an Oscar for it.
