Comeback Kid rewake the dead

Canadian icons Comeback Kid have released a rerecording of their classic 2005 track "Wake The Dead" alongside with a previously unreleased (at least officially) B-side from the Wake The Dead sessions with Scott Wade. This comes in commemoration with their 20th anniversary tour across North America and Europe. Dates and music can be found below:

I never understand why bands put themselves into obviously optically bad positions like this. If Scott isn't on the tour, then all the people who would want this over a regular tour are not going to go see it and just post stupid comments on the internet like this one.

The original is untouchable. But obviously they couldn't drop it from their repertoire! A tour of the full album with Andrew on vocals feels odd. That said, he's been there from the beginning! So I think he as a right to tour that material, even if it'll be a letdown to some fans.

And he's done a phenomenal job making Wake The Dead his own over the years. He's influenced by Scott's more punk sound, but blends it nicely with his own vocal style.
