Eve 6 Back Together

"Eve 6 returns to the musical world after a 3 year break from touring: Former RCA recording artists best known for smash hit "Inside Out" and graduation anthem "Here's To The Night" book shows; begin plans for a new album (October 6, 2007)
"After dabbling in writing, producing and side-projects for more than 3 years, Max Collins (lead vocals) and Tony Fagenson (drums) announced on Saturday that they will resume playing music under the Eve 6 moniker.
"After a 3 year hiatus, we're getting our stuff together to get out there and play for you all once again. We've given it a lot of thought and ultimately decided the best thing to do would be to make more music as Eve 6. There isn't a defined plan for a new album yet, but one will eventually be forthcoming" said Fagenson in a blog post on Eve 6's official Myspace page. Since starting the official Myspace page in February 2007, Eve 6 has accumulated over 15,000 "friends", and over 1 million song plays, averaging nearly 10,000 plays per day.
Eve 6 burst onto the scene as teenagers in 1998 with their certified platinum self-titled debut. After touring for over 6 years and releasing 3 albums on RCA, Eve 6 and the label decided to part ways in early 2004. Eve 6 played their planned "final" show in July, 2004 at a spectacular outdoor concert underneath the historic gateway arch in St. Louis and then disbanded.
Max Collins, Tony Fagenson and Jon Siebels went on to work in various other projects. Max took part in a brief solo project called "Max Collins and The Brotherhood of Lost Dogs", Tony produced for some smaller L.A based bands and Jon joined Monsters Are Waiting.
In 2006, Max and Tony reunited to form the short-lived band "The Sugi Tap", releasing a 5-track EP sold exclusively online and on their Myspace page. Eve 6 plans to integrate the Sugi Tap songs and the Sugi Tap sound into new music released by the band.
Former guitarist Jon Siebels will not be joining the newly reunited Eve 6, deciding instead to focus on his new band Monsters Are Waiting. In the meantime, Matt Bair (lead singer of EVLA recording artist Bandcamp) will be playing guitar for Eve 6.
The bands first show reunited was on October 20, 2007 at the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, VA. This was in celebration of the universities 07’ Homecoming Celebration. The band performed to a crowd of about 300 students and alum. They will also be playing a benefit for the Donate Life Foundation on October 26th with Alex Band from the Calling and others. The location is at The Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, CA.
The former official internet home for the band, Eve6.com was purchased by an outside company after Eve 6 and RCA parted ways and is no longer affiliated with the band. The temporary home for information is the official Eve 6 Myspace page and Eve 6 Media HQ, a site run by fans with input from Max Collins and Tony Fagenson. "
