Interpersonal dropped the first 2 singles off their debut LP The Long Bright Dark, as well as a music video for “Alabaster.”
The band noted: "When we sat down to write this album, we decided we wanted to explore some ideas that we hadn’t really gotten into before — we called it 'The Long Bright Dark' and [it’s] about the lightest and darkest parts of life. We dig into things like loss and mourning, and social issues, and all the stuff in between. Sonically the album follows that, as it incorporates more layered and noisier elements of Post-Hardcore, Emo, Indie Rock, and Shoegaze while retaining that Pop-Punk catchiness in its DNA."
