It's the third single.
This is clearly going to be their best album yet. It sick they have been at it for this long and they are peaking this late into their career. The composition is at a new level. This is some seriously exciting and creative shit.

You're right. Forgot about Automaton Virtulague. Fixed.

This is clearly going to be their best album yet [2]

YES
|

still isn't it. Impressed by this band's specialization in sounding lifeless
|
| |
gonna be awesome yeah. track is killer.
|

Album is gonna rule. Also the article incorrectly states it’s their fifth LP when it’s their fourth
|
| |
Can't wait for this

Everything Wormed was working for their entire career is finally clicking on this record at full force. Every album they have done has had extremely different vibes due to the composition and production. Some records are more robotic, some more raw, some more grindcore influenced (Krigshu), some are more breakdown heavy. But this is the perfect fit for them. The composition and production of this record is for sure their best fit yet. Everything is clearer, the flows are smoother, but is somehow managed to mix that with a production that makes things hit even more brutally than ever, thanks in large part to the organic sound of it. Abd yea their writing is just better than ever

Can't get down with this band. I've tried to no avail.
|
| |
@Hawks is it the vocals?
|
| |
Nope vox are fine. Mostly in the production tbh. Too sterile sounding imo.

This Colin Marston prod doesn't even compare to their previous stuff. Doesn't sound like their other albums at all, production-wise. So you're saying you don't like any of the production routes they've taken? Fair enough, I guess.
|
| |
That's my main gripe yes. Will give the new album a shotveither way.
|

I'm aware you won't care, Hawkz, but ily. Might be a case of you just not enjoying the band's shtick/premise, which is more otherworldly than "lifeless" and pretty much what they've been going for this whole time. Having heard this in full, I still think there's a good chance you might appreciate this one more than you think at this very moment.
|
| |
I'm gonna give it a shot. Idk about lifeless but their previous stuff just did nothing for me.
|

I always loved their production, I think it fits their music and themes like a globe. Actually, as much as I love Colin Marston work, his trademark sound doesn't really fit Wormed imho. Album will still rule anyway.
|
| |
this doesn't sound like marston's typical stuff. this sounds exactly how it should tbh
anyway track friggin rules and this is gonna own. can't wait for friday
