Nord Philter the Truth 2023-10-11 by Mitch Worden EMERITUS | 9 Comments | French progressive rock/post-hardcore Nord have recently debuted a new single from their upcoming third album. Titled "II. Truth Philters," the track was released alongside a new music video and exhibits the group's new direction, with their traditional progressive sound incorporating synth elements and darkwave influence.
The collective's next LP, titled The Implosion of Everything that Matters, is set to be unveiled on November 3rd this year.

Can't say the electronic elements are striking my fancy as much as I'd hoped, but Nord's discog tends to reward a sustained album listen much more strongly than a single here or there. Hoping that the full record tells a cohesive story like Surface did
