Sounds like a mix between Lorna Shore's Maleficium EP and Worm Shepherd's Ritual Hymns album. Blackened deathcore for ya. I like how they mix two very different genres to create a somewhat original and fresh new sound. If you told me 15 years ago that adding black metal elements to deathcore would be the future of the deathcore genre, I wouldn't believe it. I wonder what kind of genre hybrids we gonna see next? Not only in deathcore but in metal in general.

I actually really like the juxtaposition between the slam parts and melodic parts. Makes them hit way harder imo but the breakdown goes on a little long in this track.

Very excited for this release. Their new vocalist, Lukas Nikolai (from Sun Eater) sounds great.
