Rina comments: " 'Hold the Girl' was the first song I wrote for the record at the end of 2020 – I had gone to therapy and had a revelation, so I decided to write this song… that was the start of it. I was crying before going into the studio to write about it."

Wrong this woman cannot do.
So far the singles sound less abrasive and varied than what came ahead of Sawayama, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Great song and yeah... slideshow. She's in it.

Something by about her stuff isn’t super appealing to me but her Coachella performance was jaw dropping. Like insane. So for that reason I’ll be checking this out.

The chorus has got quite a Eurovisiony feel to it.

Ew, this reminds me of like a random Eurovision entry from Sweden with its usual call-backs to stereotypical chart music tropes. This is so trying to be cozy with everyone.
