This was a weird song. Clearly aiming to be a radio hit and has kind of a boring chorus, but there are a ton of really fun ideas sprinkled throughout to keep things interesting. Excited for the rest of the EP. These guys have been on a nice winning streak

song is whatever but I disagree with this take, it brings some theatricality back to rock music and shows that the artist has an artistic vision they're willing to see through, for better or worse

They generally don't go farther back than Sempeternal. The last time I saw them, they do like a "deathcore mashup" of 5 of their back-catalogue songs ... unfortunately Oli ruptured his throat again on that tour and had to cancel the back half of it. I think it is safe to assume that for the most part pre-sempeternal songs live are essentially a no-go from now on.

I wanted to like this, I really enjoyed PH:SH and I really don't mind the concept of dialling up the pop alongside the heavier instrumentation rather than replacing it entirely.

But I just don't get any enjoyment from it whatsoever. I feel like there's been so many moments of promise in the new direction (yes, even including from That's The Spirit) but it's just not quite there yet and this song is not an indication that we're gonna get a solidly great album any time soon.

This band has had such an insane regression since being one of the best metalcore acts around.
It’s one thing changing your style repeatedly but the lyrics have gone from pretty bad to like a 13 year old wrote them whilst feeling edgy.

After having escaped the pop teeny bopper metalcore scene....these guys where never one of the best metalcore bands. They where popular yes but overall quality of core ehhhh. There is a hell has some neat stuff on it though and they have some fun stuff here and there.
