Led Zeppelin Confirm Comeback

2007-09-12 by TheStarclassicTreatment | 22 Comments
Legendary rockers Led Zeppelin have confirmed their (at least temporary) reunion, thanks to Harvey Goldsmith.

According to Sky News:

"Ageing hard rockers Led Zeppelin are getting back together for a one-off reunion show later this year.

And fans had better move fast - tickets are available online today.
But even the most die-hard supporter might raise their eyebrows at the price: £125 each.

The three remaining members of the band have confirmed they will play in London on November 26 at London's O2 Arena, better known as the Millennium Dome.

Led Zep are the latest in a series of bands to get back together in recent months.

Acts like The Police, Motley Crue and the Spice Girls have all reunited for tours. Even Pink Floyd buried the hatchet and reformed for London's Live 8 show."

Well should be fun to see Jimmy Page's phlegm all over his guitar again, I guess.

^I'd imagine Jason Bonham would be filling in for drums.

And God, this better be a one show thing, ill cry if they destroy their legacy by doing something stupid.

I agree. But its cool that they got back together. Im sure ticket prices are not worth it though.

This is the best news ever! But it sucks that it's only going to be in one place... Would have LOVED to see them live.

They haven't reunited fully because Bonham is dead. So it can't really be a reunion unless they bring Bonham's body (or ashes?) or something.

They'll be awful, and that ticket price is embarrassingly high.

Cool, but I'm not going to even try to go. Ticket prices=BS, plus, judging by their recent projects, they won't be good at this time in their life.

125GBP = 250USD, and it is well worth the money if the Who can get away with only 2 surviving members LZ shud be able to get away with 3 outta 4 - Bonham's son is on drums and I heard Dave Grohl is the standby drummer! Best band in the world ever, will be an amazing show!
