New Revenge Beast (Marc Rizzo) song 2021-08-29 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 4 Comments | Marc Rizzo has released the latest song from his new death metal project Revenge Beast. Titled "I Am", the lyrics appear to make reference to the ongoing feud between Rizzo and Max Cavalera, which began after Soulfly parted ways with the guitarist. It is not known if a full album is in development, or if the songs released so far are just demos.
Marc Rizzo is currently on a solo tour. Soulfly are currently touring with temporary guitarist Dino Cazares. Rizzo is also active with his other new project Hail the Horns with Tony Campos, primarily releasing cover songs.

I don't consider Rizzo a virtuoso but he is a very capable player. In any case this is horrendous, this has to be a demo. I would never post something like this online.

Rizzo is a good guitarist but not a great songwriter. Can see why he only got to write the solos on Soulfly's albums. Max is the riff man.
