HXXS, an experimental duo from Kansas City-via-Portland, has announced that its new LP, Channeler, will be out on August 6. This is following their 2019 LP, Year Of The Witch, released on Captured Tracks. All of Channeler's songs were improvised before being sent out to collaborators. Features include Thor Harris (ex-Swans), Moor Mother, Martinez Hillard (Ebony Tusks), Jorge Arana, and Zak Pischnotte. The album is available for pre-order on Bandcamp and the self-directed music video for the first single, "Starve," is on YouTube.
