Fuckin loved it, the shorter song length and traditional song structure worked well for them. Also digging the neoclassical style leads on this one, typically they're doing a lot of diminished stuff.

Certainly is an Obscura song. Not blowing my socks off, but it's on par for them. Short and sweet and simple, I like it. Probably fits right in in the context of the album.

Dunno how much Christian contributed to the writing but this sounds much more in line with Cosmogenesis than Akroasis/Diluvium style-wise

Band was on the set of the first show I ever went to with Augury, Hatesphere and The Black Dahlia Murder and I was in a huge tech death phase back then so my main attraction was Augury and Obscura. Haven't jammed anything beyond their first two albums and although I don't revisit them often I always have a soft spot for them when I do.
Song was pretty decent. Don't think the vocals are bad but I think they could be lower in the mix maybe. Loving the bass and where it's sitting also. What album should I jam beyond the first two until this drops?

none really, 2016 was decent but not comparable to the first 2, last one was complete dogshit, thank god the dudes responsible for it left the band
