The harsh screams sound way different on this compared to any of their previous work. I wonder if it's production or a change in style. Regardless, track was awesome as expected

Song features Caro from Oathbreaker during all the harsh vocal parts. It threw me at first as well.

Loved the track. There's definitely a subtle change here, leaning a bit more on post-metal than doom, but still pretty heavy. Loved Caro's bits.

Pretty amazing. Hope they release a translation of the lyrics though. Album will crush obviously. Also Glad they ditched the MASS title. Band is too creative to be that stagnate IMO.

Also am I crazy or does the riff really sound similar to Sweet Dreams Marilyn Mansons cover version?

it's guaranteed amenra goodness but the vocals are just... eh?

i like caro as much as anyone but when you're expecting colin's shrieks and she jumps on top in the mix you can just hear how weak her screams sound compared to colin

but colin is the best in the business so really what is she supposed to do? still solid though

'it's guaranteed amenra goodness but the vocals are just... eh?'

Anyone who knows me on here knows im the biggest Amenra dick licker but the second half of that song just doesnt do anything for me because of the cleans. I usually love Colins cleans when theyre more broken. The masters of the post metal climax but when those cleans come in, It just sounds like someone else, like some big ass euro metal band. If you dont nail the landing after the build up in 'post metal' it can kinda make the rest of it void or at least less important.
I get the feeling theres gonna be a post and pre 'A solitary reign' Amenra. Can see it in the fan base because that song opened them up to so many people but most people Ive known whove been going watching amenra for 10 years all over europe kinda feel the same about this song. First 5 mins or so are dope though. I like the Caro and Colin dynamic on it

Amenra is one of the loudest bands I have ever seen live. I thought my ear drums were going to burst levels of loud.
