Times of Grace return

2021-01-18 by daysofthunder | 17 Comments
Times of Grace, the side project of Killswitch Engage members Adam Dutkiewicz and Jesse Leach, is returning after a 10-year hiatus.

The group uploaded this video with a message from Leach and Dutkiewicz, as well as a teaser to a new album set to release this spring:

The project's debut album, "The Hymn of a Broken Man," released on Jan. 18, 2011, and was written while Dutkiewicz recovered from emergency back surgery. It's also somewhat credited for facilitating Leach's reunion with Killswitch Engage the following year.

Debut was very good, I've been eager to hear new material from this project for quite some time.

Hoping this is as good as the debut, Jesse and Adam have a lot of talent at their disposal which makes it all the more disappointing that the last few Killswitch albums have been so derivative.

Oh yeah this vid is cheesy as fuck, tries way too hard, Jesse's section in particular was like bro please stop talking.

Wow I forgot about these guys! I bought the signed CD when they released their first LP ages ago and don't think I ever listened to it.

Can't wait for another riveting hyperbolic Peartnoy review, calling them the greatest melodic metalcore band of all time.

Hymn is legit one of my favorite albums in the genre. 'more varied than anything killswitch has ever done' [2]. Definitely hyped for this!
