Honestly this is rock solid. Vocalist would do so well in a synth/dance rock band

Vocalist nails it. Didn't care for the choice of distortion and energy for the chorus though, kinda fell flat for me.

Even so, I'd recommend it to other people. I think my roommate will like this.

It was better than I expected it to be, the verses were a lot better than the chorus

The Killers are overrated af and Motionless in White are just bad. I kinda hate the synths and overall instrumentation in this tbh. It's not like the drums suck, but I don't even like how they're produced. The vocal performance is loaded with potential though. I just wish I could hear him sing in a good project. Sounds like they at least had fun with it though.

Thought this was really shit. Vocals, synths, everything here sounds shit

This song has zero personality. The vocals are a bad rip off of the actual personality in the original (the harsh's were really bad) and the arrangement couldn't have been more boring if they tried. Lame generic driving drums, lame generic driving guitar, ugly synth. Not good.

Okay the chord progressions and the melodies were pretty garbage, you're right, but like you can hear in his voice that he can sing. Like, I don't fuck with Taylor Swift at all but I have to hand it to her that her voice is beautiful, y'know?

my initial reaction upon seeing the headline was definitely "oh no" but it's actually not the worst. honestly this band would actually be somewhat listenable if they dropped the manson-core thing and played music like this instead

It really isn’t a bad cover, but as far as the vocals go WHAT is that gross flange-y effect they put on them?? Every few syllables are warped or cut off and it’s kinda jarring.

Oh come on, can’t covers just be fun? I highly doubt even they are taking it this seriously.

Thought it would suck, but actually ended up liking it. Can't believe I'm saying it but maybe they should just drop the metalcore stuff at together.

Vocalist sounds like he was reading the lyrics for the first time as he sang

this sucks but i like the singer's timbre i wanna hear him do something actually good

edit: i can literally *hear* how apathetic the band is towards this cover in the performances

sounds just like a knockoff of the original with harsher vocals and some synth

Yeah, drums sound programmed tbh.

they just basically did the same exact song, but the original song is so damn good and Chris has a great voice so I can't really be mad at this. They just wanted to have fun

It's alright. I'm not big on the original anyway. I kinda wish he went a bit more Manson-y with the singing

I'd rather they just do a straight cover. The only other option is they replace guitar strumming with chugging and call it a cover
