Beloved to reunite

2019-12-07 by JohnFire | 19 Comments
The Labeled podcast, hosted by Matt Carter (Emery), recently released a two part episode in which the history of Beloved, their disbanding and subsequent hiatus was discussed with members Dusty Redmon (part 1) and Josh Moore (part 2).

While it was already known that drummer / vocalist Joe Musten's wishes to focus more on his home life he wanted to build with his wife were the cause for the band's end, it was revealed that 4/5 of the band tried to reunite the band multiple times, with Moore being the sole hesitant member as he wanted to focus on his solo music.

The podcast culminated in the reveal that the band is now reunited and in rehearsals for 2020's Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL, with a NC hometown show more than likely to be announced as well. During those rehearsals the band is even working on new songs, hinting at a possible future beyond these shows.

Damn I didn't know about the Advent connection, even though they are a little more on the hardcore end.

I dunno for me Josh Moore's clean vocals really set Beloved apart from the pack of similar bands during that time.

If you’re around the age of 30 you know what time it is. One of the first bands I got into from this genre.
