This new drummer Ilan Rubin is an awesome drummer .trust me hes a student of travis barker!
|
| |
did i mention hes only 17 and a already seasoned pro.

I also fear.
I loved them before anyone knew them (had TFSOP on import, with all the orginal tracks and interludes 2 years before they broke out), and I still loved them after everyone else knew them, but...we'll see.

The new song on MySpace sounds like Funeral for a Friend on "Hours". I hope not the whole new album will be like that

You just said the entirely wrong thing there.

Key word "student" not "travis barker".

He took only a couple lessons with Barker and runs circles around Barker and most other drummers from what I saw a couple days ago. Don't fucking judge until you've seen. He's a fucking monster on drums.
|

yeah hes pretty savage. the new lostprophets stuff sounds good.

all the drums ont liberation transmission were made by josh freese, ilan will be the touring drummer but it's not sure yet that he'll be the official drummer after that. Hmm i've heard "Rooftops" and "can't catch tomorrow", the new stuff seems to be more mainstream, more catchy (more than start something? is it possible?), but is it bad? dunno. This Message Edited On 06.12.06

wrong!! Ilan Rubin did two songs on Liberation Transmission. Imagine being 17 and having worked with Bob Rock. It doesn't get much better than that, unless you play at Earl's Court to a sold out crowd like he did last April
