First of all I want to say thanks to all of you who have been so great to send me emails and comments. It really means a lot to me.

I hurt my back after the Phoenix show last Wednesday and out of nowhere I found myself on the floor and unable to walk. The next morning the band had a 5:00 A.M. lobby call for a flight to Houston, but I stayed behind with Angel (friend/TBS crew member/and actual angel). He had to deal with me for 2 days in a hotel in Arizona shooting all sorts of "favors" out at him. Angel, I thank you very much, my friend.

Anyway, had an MRI and I've got a herniated disc. Saw a spine surgeon yesterday and will be going for treatments.

This is really pretty weird for me because I've never missed a TBS show in all the 8 years I've been in the band, so I especially want to thank the guys for being so cool and understanding. Aaron, also thanks to you--you're a lifesaver.

My goal is to be at Jones Beach on August 15th.
