The best post-hardcore vocalist in the history of the 13 multiverses, Kurt Travis has finally announced the long-awaited follow-up to his 2014 solo effort Everything Is Beautiful, entitled There’s A Place I Want To Take You, which is due to be released May 17th through Blue Swan/Esque Records. In addition, he's also released a video for the track "Easy Peasy" from the upcoming album as well as shared a pre-order link, both of which can be found below.

I was really digging some of the songs on Everything is Beautiful when it came out. I did not enjoy this as much as those.

Hyped! Song isn’t as good as stuff off EIB, but a great song nonetheless

Still quite in line stylistically with EIB, which is some perfect pop in my eyes. Will definitely look forward to this one.

This track felt a little flat, but gives a pretty nice vibe. Slowly warmed up to this dude, definitely enjoying his work with A Lot Like Birds more than his DGD output to be honest (except the tracks Happiness and Uneasy Hearts)

@keza, give happiness a spin front to back. he really establishes a great 'break up' tone on that album. apparently they recorded it during daylight hours (as opposed to late night sessions for the death star album that has uneasy hearts) in 1 week after kurt's relationship ended, so there's a lot of emotional fodder going on in there

Like him infinitely more post-DGD. A Lot Like Birds worked so much better with his vocal style for my tastes.
