excuse me?
| |
you're not excused
| |
this ain't half bad, kind of like a heavier mewithoutYou
| |
reminds me a bit of Verse on Aggression with no shouting or the hxcore tendencies
article should mention this is basically consisting of Puig Destroyer
| |
trash
| |
Gonna have to check this.
| |
my new favorite jazz fusion supergroup
| |
wish i dug the vocals
| |
Shit is sick
| |
Mentioned the puig destroyer thing. Saw these lads last year at The Hemlock in SF. show was dope. Hope to catch them in NY this Sept.
| |
basically mewithoutyou mixed with kowloon walled city. it's awesome though.
| |
Some sweet riffs on this. I wish the vocals were a little better but oh well.
| |
MWY comparisons have me intrigued, will definitely check this later
| |
link is missing a colon
| |
I hate this style of vocals. *shouts* EVERY.. LYRIC.. IS SO.. IMPORTANT!!!
musicianship is not terrible though
| |
good shit
| |
pessimism as denial is such a jam
| |
This is really cool. Much more interesting than Puig Destroyer
| |
interesting band name
| |
honestly wasn't expecting much from this but it's really good
interesting to read in that interview that some of the heavier stuff Ed & Riley had been working on (presumably for TBEITBN) ended up here instead
| |
The comparisons to Mewithoutyou should make it known that it's closer to their debut album. Which is pretty different sounding than their last 5 albums.
Anyways, pretty good for a debut, old school post hardcore which isn't a bad thing
| |
it's way closer to kowloon walled city then mewithoutyou, but a lesser known comparison.
| |
which is a band everyone should check out.
| |
" interesting to read in that interview that some of the heavier stuff Ed & Riley had been working on (presumably for TBEITBN) ended up here instead"
Really? I thought some of these riffs would have been killer on a Thrice record and reading this just bums me out.
| |
really cool band ya
| |
I personally really dig the vocals. They're somewhere between Geert era Shai Hulud and YCBY poison the well
| |

Very interesting. Not a big fan of that new Thrice album, but this was a jam. Vocals are good, especially backing vox. Wandering Ghost rules.
