Meg Mac reveals new single - UPDATED 2017-04-01 by tempest-- | 5 Comments | Australian singer/songwriter Meg Mac has released the first song from her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, due later in 2017. ‘Low Blows’ is the title of the single, and its accompanying video can be streamed below.
Speaking to W Magazine, Meg Mac said about ‘Low Blows’
“I was at home and I could hear people outside having fun, and I distinctly remember feeling very sorry for myself. I feel like everyone has that time where you're alone and you can hear everyone else being fine, and you're like, I'm not fine.”

UPDATE
Low Blows has also been announced as the title of Meg Mac's debut album, due for release July 14.
Commenting on her new record, Meg says:
"I played a lot of piano on the album - Austin Jenkins, Josh Block, Robert Ellis and Sarab Singh added guitars, keys and bass and drums. Overall I wanted it to really feel like I was just singing in the room to you. So a lot of the vocal performances are live and unedited, it is hard to leave mistakes on a record but I think it was important to do that."
