Fleet Foxes announce new album 2017-03-07 by iGuter | 32 Comments | Fleet Foxes have announced their next album after 6 years on a quiet hiatus. The album is called Crack-Up and will be released June 16 via Nonesuch. Frontman Robin Pecknold wrote the record and it was co-produced by bandmate Skyler Skjelset. They have also shared a new track “Third of May/Ōdaigahara."
The band has announced they will perform their first show in 6 years this May at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. There is also a North American tour where they will perform select shows with Animal Collective (including a show at Merriweather Post Pavilion) and Beach House.

they're going to be touring a ton from what Robin said. He wants to hit everywhere they can hit. He said he's been really surprised how many people have gotten into them since they HB and they want to make sure everyone has a chance to see them. He's also already talking about their next album. Sounds like he has a lot of solid material from over the years.
