It's on par with some of the weaker tracks from previous albums. That said, a "weak" Pallbearer track runs circles around a lot of other band's best material, so I'm not worried. It will be good. My only criticism is the vocals sound a little "first-take"-ish; not as tight as previous albums. However, I am encouraged by the shorter track length. Personally, I would rather have an album of 8-10 more concise songs than 5-6 overly long, rambling affairs...even in Doom metal.
