They didn't revolutionize metalcore they jumped on the early 2000's melodic metalcore bandwagon that bands like As I Lay Dying, KSE, and All that Remains helped polularize.

I thought all these comments were just the usual Sputnik Metalcore haters but yeah this was pretty average. Not at all terrible, they just seem to have lost the edge.

Definitely better than pretty much anything on the last 3 records. But yeah I agree with Krispy, there's an edge that seems to just be missing a little.

Venom was better than this; something's really up with the mixing on the clean vocals and it's bothering the hell out of me.

it's a definite improvement- best song I've heard from them since their second album.

@Krispy tbh back in the day I liked these guys, I was on the train from their first release. I even liked Fever when it came out..... but in hindsight it seems a very weak album to me. Not just for the move to a notably more mainstream sound either, I just don't think the songs are very good.

I can't get over how much of a rip of this is to Shadow Moses.

I saw these guys back in 2007/08 (cant remember) with Atreyu, A7X and they were fucking awful. Atreyu easily made everyone look like clowns

Best part of the song was the opening 60 seconds. Once they stopped ripping off Bring Me The Horizon and started to tread their own path on the track it stopped being good.

I quite enjoyed this. Far better than what they've released recently but still very generic. The lyrics are awful as always though.

You wanna hear a Shadow Moses rip-off? Check out Violence by Normandie. It's utterly shameful, especially the beginning. That said, this song's better then their recent albums, but still pretty weak.
