Kim Gordon Goes Solo?

2016-09-12 by Cyan isn't a shade of blue. | 20 Comments
Kim Gordon, the former co-vocalist and bass player for Sonic Youth, has released the first solo song of her career today entitled 'Murdered Out.' There's no confirmation as to whether or not she intends on making a solo album.

Check out the song here:

Gordon was also interviewed about the song here:

It's got an industrial edge and some thick bass and a sassy single woman on vocals. Pretty Shrektacular.

Yeah, I'd be excited for it, especially since Gordon is my favorite Sonic Youth vocalist.

Yeah, I'd kill to see Thurston, Kim, and Lee all together at least once.

Also I hope Kim makes an entire album, because this song is my jam of the week easily.
