Wu-Tang ain't nuthing' ta fuck wit
| |
This song is meh...
| |
'Sum 41'
'piano driven track'
nope.avi
| |
What were they going for with this? Deryck you're not Josh Homme, you can't make your own 'Vampyre'
| |
I don't think it's terrible and it's certainly better than some of the other "ballads" they've released throughout their career. Choosing this to be the lead single though over something heavier? Meh. Deryck did describe the record as a mixture of Chuck and Screaming Bloody Murder, so I am cautiously optimistic that it'll be more Chuck with Dave back.
| |
Where's brownsounds riffs? Song is still good 3/5
| |
They've really matured his hair is amazing. Song is fucking sensational, its up there with Linkin Park. Couldn't help but pre-order as a result of the trillion pop ups saying I should.
| |
got to the chorus and shut it off
sum 41 more like smh 41
| |
His hair is amazing [2]
Song is pretty bad and totally boring
| |
Pretty good actually
| |
I like how, though my phone is often zoomed in enough that I read a comment before seeing who posted it, I can always recognize Zak's twaddle as his no matter where I am on the website
| |
song is terrible
sounds like an underclass hero b-side
| |
this just isn't a good song
| |
The dude looks like a young Matt Perry.
Song sucks too.
| |
Damn, I was hoping for more fast shit. These piano-verse radio ballads are always terrible. Best part is the Wu-Tang shirt worn by my bro.
| |
more brownsound
| |
Much better than the first single. But still pretty average. btw the melody in the chorus is just so familiar and unoriginal
| |
"btw the melody in the chorus is just so familiar and unoriginal"
The curse of the piano driven modern ballad
| |
the lyrics just sound desperate to rhyme
| |
yeah the slipping away part of the chorus is so fucking forced omg
| |
Anything Sum 41 in 2016 sounds desperate
| |
But this song is awful
| |
Honestly, I love this.
| |
"The curse of the piano driven modern ballad"
the title track from like clockwork subverts this beautifully

"My favourite Sum 41 record is Underclass Hero because I'm an underclass hero" - Hasan
| |
sum 41 speaks to me
| |
Album's gonna be a hard 4/5 if it's as good as the two singles that have been released.
| |
Not a bad Linkin Park facsimile, like I'm only mildly suicidal now.
Snide likes it, good enough for me.
| |
always liked the singer's voice but this song is bland af
| |
I think they nail what they are going for which is just another piano driven ballad. And also, looking beautiful.
| |
That was...bad. Lazy, unfocused, and bad.
| |
Holy shit, Deryck looks great compared to when he left rehab a couple years ago.
| |
Blink-182, Ataris, Green Day, Good Charlotte, and now Sum 41?
Apparently I'm in 2001 again.
| |
Pretty meh. First single was better.
| |
the obligatory some say/pieces track for this record, i wouldnt consider it reflective of the album as a whole.
| |
Why do these guys still exist
| |
"why do bands release music"

| |
This makes ne want to drown myself in a vat of pudding
| |
lol i got to exactly 24 seconds and turned it off
| |
If being in Sum 41 stops Deryck from drinking himself to death then by all means let them release as much music as they want.
| |
agreed with Xing that they've had worse ballads. hope the rest of the album is more along the lines of the first single tho
| |
the only ballad that they've written that is worse than this is best of me
| |
What an ironic title
| |
Pretty bad. Fake my own death was decent but I'm at the point where I really don't care what they do at this point. But I sure as hell didn't wish it sounded like this god dammit
| |
that thumbnail is cringe enough
| |
lol poor blink fans
EDIT: oh wait, this isn't blink. who fucking cares
| |
I figured they'd have a song like this for their new album. "Pieces" was a big hit for them, only makes sense that they'd do a ballad in the same vein. I don't expect the whole album to be like this (if it is, well that's just disappointing). As for the actual song itself? It's harmless.
| |
Sum 41 was and is still better than Blink 182.
Always have been, always will be.
| |
you know who else declared war? Hitler.
| |
and lost it
| |
lol damn
| |
still holding out hope for a good album, I doubt the rest of the album sounds like this.
| |
"and lost it"
Hit harder than the nukes that made Japan surrender.
| |
"My favourite Sum 41 record is Underclass Hero because I'm an underclass hero" - Hasan
amazing
| |
Sum 41 gives me insight in to how old school In Flames fans feel who despise their new music.
| |
I liked Pieces.
| |
don't heck around this is way better than new in flames
| |
nah bro new in flames is great compared to this
| |
song is pretty good don't know what ya'll are expecting
this sounds like vintage Sum 41 and I could not be more hype for this album
| |
This song honestly sucks. Sounds like it belongs on SBM.
I give this song a 2.5
