Meshiaak stream debut album 2016-08-19 by Voivod STAFF | 5 Comments | Newly emerging Australian thrashers Meshiaak, are streaming their first LP Alliance Of Thieves at the official YouTube channel of Mascot Label Group.
Band lineup is featuring drummer John Dette (Slayer, Testament, Iced Earth etc.), guitarist Dean Wells (Teramaze), former 4ARM frontman Danny Tomb and bassist Nick Walker.
Alliance Of Thieves LP was released on August 15.

I partially agree about the "by-the-books" thrash argument, in that the album is by-the-books tech thrash up the alley of bands like Heathen.
Few thrash outfits can go this far.
As for the sound, it's more than adequate, and more so when compared to the new Destruction (!!), Anthrax, Megadeth and Flotsam and Jetsam albums.
