Darkher stream debut LP 2016-08-17 by Voivod STAFF | 5 Comments | English folk/gothic band Darkher (aka West Yorksire based singer/songwriter Jayn H. Wissenberg), are streaming their debut LP Realms at the official YouTube channel of Prophecy Productions.
The stream comes ahead of the album's official release date, slated for August 19.

This sounds A LOT like Chelsea Wolfe. Being a big fan of hers, I wonder how much new artists will need to try to differentiate themselves from her without being called copycats.

Even though she's doing a great job at it, Chelsea Wolfe didn't invent this style.
Other outfits and artists - some are mentioned in my previous comment - have been doing it since the mid '90s.
