This would've been fantastic - Two of the more serious and talented bands of the last 15 years on stage at once.... Even if you don't like them (or hate on them to gain 'super alternative' status) you would have to appreciate the weight of seeing these guys together

I was there for it and it was one of the best shows I've seen ever. And I've seen quite a few bands.
Tom Morello came out for Lateralus during the second buildup. Maynard introduced him this way: "Here he is, the king of the rock fucking guitar solo, Tom Morello!" It wasn't said in a sarcastic way at all. They're good friends. After Morello was finished him and maynard hugged, with maynard putting his hand on tom's ass and grabbed it. It was funny.
