I still don't get how redbull picked up on these guys. Still haven't been able to get into these guys. I don't get the appeal.

Its cool how there seems to be in a recent trend making really heavy, aggressive music but watering it down with generic riffs, boring lyrics, borrowing a chorus from a top 40 pop hit, and overproducing the crap out of everything. So dangerous...
| |
Stoked. Read the interview, glad he got through the self-deprecating, inward focused lyrics. They were great, but it'd get repetitive eventually.
| |
Meh, it's okay. Probably be a fun 3/5 like the last album.
| |
fuck sake i legit read this as "new behemoth song/album"
| |
My the chorus ruins this song. I've got a buddy who just loved their last album and I couldn't get it into it. It's so... generic.
| |
See their sticking to the contour heavy guitars.
| |
afraid to listen cause disgusting was pretty disgusting tbh
| |
review of this song is up!

not sure about the intro bit and stuff but song as a whole rules, one of the better current metalcore bands
| |
This is so fucking bad
| |
hardcrab

Nothing new here, but it's pretty decent.
The album can still be fun.
| |
This has to be a Disgusting B-side, literally nothing on this track sounds any different then it sounded on that album.
| |
It's fine. A continuation of what was done with the previous album in terms of sound. Was kind of hoping for something a bit different though.
| |
this is pretty good

2004-2011 is "recent"?
| |
everyone wants a little piece of linking park in their music nowadays.
| |
bands second best song and its still really atrocious smdh, shomo needs to learn how to write lyrics, BAD
| |
"not sure about the intro bit and stuff but song as a whole rules, one of the better current metalcore bands"
C'mon Game, really?
I mean, this isn't downright horrible, but there isn't anything special about it. The lyrics had me giggling a few times at how bad they are. Good god....
| |
Still really homogenized, clean metalcore. Still mediocre at best. Some of the riffs could work in another context, with different production especially. Shomo's lyrics always sounded like something a 6th grader would write.
| |
Disgusting had some pretty decent lyrics, American Dream and The Lines come to mind. Shomo said he's trying to stay away from the self-loathing lyrics, so hopefully we'll be hearing something a bit different in the future.

i mean, i wont claim they're brilliant by any stretch but i enjoy them, just fun catchy songs with a little less polish. there are better metalcore bands out there of course but this is way better than the memphis may fires and shit that's popular
| |
song is average, band is average, album will be average
| |
This was aggressive
| |
Oh yay more shitty post-metalcore
| |
It kind of sounds like ETID, sans the witty vocals and overall sense of chaos. It could be an okay "party metal" album, I guess.
| |
Boring
| |
I don't get the hype surrounding this band.
| |
I have a soft heart for Caleb Shomo ever since the Attack!Attack! days, I do hope the rest of the album has more variety other than the same formula though.

Yeah I don't care for that one too much...
| |

| |
I liked Attack!Attack!'s self titled... wasn't a fan of "This Means War"
| |
too bad they CHUGGA CHUGG CHUGGA ruined the "fun" CHUGG CH-CH-CHUG of every song CHUGGA by consistently DJUN CHUG CHUG shoving them CHUGGA CHUG CHUG full of CHUG CHUG needless CHUG DJUNT CHUGGA breakdowns PINCH HARMONIC.
| |
attack attack was garbage agreed.
