These guys probably all have other jobs and therefore the number of years between albums is somewhat irrelevant as its hard to know how much they actually work on this stuff. The multiple album release thing and constant talk of perfection sounds like a typical recipe for failure though.

No, not really. Theres tracks out and speculation of multiple albums coming out is a thing based off of a statement by the band in the past, so that would explain the large time gap.

Nah the album they actually put out is amazing but they’re never putting out another one lol.

It was great yeah but idk I wasn't as thrilled as everybody else here was. The song lengths made it a bit too tiresome for me...

The ambient parts are a bit drawn out at times but it’s pretty much the perfect example of post-hardcore and/or metalcore imo.

Maybe I'll go back and give it another go soon, see if my thoughts have changed since I last jammed it

It had it's faults but it was an excellent record that showed a lot of promise.
Then they put out two new songs that seemed to continue the trend, so was it ever going to reach expectations? Probably not, but it should have been pretty interesting to see what they came up with.

Those two songs are terrific.
