Band is the fucking worst
| |
bet it's going to suck even more than their other stuff.
| |
this is obnoxious
| |
Havent they been hyping this album for fucking years now
| |
hahaha get it hack + activist = hacktivist lol
| |
Literally who cares, band lost any momentum they had years ago
| |
You can tell they have been listening to way too much shitty djent and Enter Shikari. And they just keep getting worse
| |
They have literally 1 good song and thats the feature with that scumbag Charlie
| |
Why is charlie a scumbag?
| |
They don't seem to be particularly liked across the Atlantic in the States, but in the UK they're pretty popular and have been headlining tours for a while now (well rap metal has always been better received in Europe than America). The main complaint has been the lack of a full album but with Rise Records backing it they'll probably take off properly this year.
| |
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'VE BEEN FUCKING WAITING
| |
Djent seems to be the new Nu-metal.
| |
I use to like Djent but I never understood the popularity of this band.
| |
'but in the UK they're pretty popular and have been headlining tours for a while now'
wait what i haven't heard about them for ages since when were they popular
| |
My reaction as soon as he started "rapping" was uncontrollable laughter. I mean, they can't be serious with the djent and rapping combo, can they?
| |
Their guitarist really bogs them down. The rest of the band are quite talented. They just need to focus harder on writing more memorable guitar riffs and melodies.
| |
(2) NonApplicable
| |
I love how djent lived and died in the amount of time it took Meshuggah to make two studio albums.
| |
Also the combination of djent and rap isn't a bad idea, it's just this band plays the same riff over and over again.
| |
nah, it's a pretty bad idea
| |
it's an abysmally bad idea, rap with any heavier, metal oriented genre is an awful idea
| |
man they combined two words into one and then put a Z in their song name. that is just so cool
And to put everything in CAPS, I mean wow you can really tell you're in for something truly visionary
| |
i've had to sit through this band as a supporting act like 5 times now, i will never understand their popularity in the UK...
| |
This appeals to my inner teenager wearing a hoodie 3 sizes too big.
Honestly, I know it's pretty vapid and there's nothing in it, but I'm not totally averse to it.
| |
"wait what i haven't heard about them for ages since when were they popular"
tours with big name bands and loads of support from guys like Enter Shikari
been very popular for awhile now
| |
"ROTTEN (feat. Astroid Boys & Jot Maxi)"
Nice, Astroid Boys are cool.
| |
"man they combined two words into one and then put a Z in their song name. that is just so cool"
Buszy is a place in Milton Keynes which was an important youth centre. It got shut down recently and the band are using it as an example of the growing neglect towards the younger population in the UK thanks to consistent government and council cuts while protecting the core elderly vote and the big businesses that fund them.
| |
"Why is charlie a scumbag?"
Rumour of attempting to do unpleasant things with underage fans. They've replaced his contribution on the track with vocals by Jamie Graham of Heart of a Coward now though (on the track Deceive and Defy)
| |
what a horrible song
| |
TIL
| |

Popularity = quality?
hehe
| |
My comment was in response to someone asking if they're still popular after their emergence in 2012/13. Not about how good anyone thinks they are because we all know Sputnik hates anything to do with rap metal unless it's Rage Against the Machine
| |
probably because rage is the only example of "rap metal" not sounding like total dogshit
| |
Loved these guys when I was 16 and it was basically the heaviest stuff I had heard lol
Track's eh, basically the same as every other track they've put out
| |
"Rumour of attempting to do unpleasant things with underage fans. They've replaced his contribution on the track with vocals by Jamie Graham of Heart of a Coward now though (on the track Deceive and Defy)"
eurgh nasty man had no idea
| |
thought it was common knowledge at this point that most shitty core musicians are mainly in it for the diddling
| |
Why do so many people who hate rap + metal comment here? Either post something productive or go away and do something worth your time.
| |
why are some people so fucking sensitive?
| |
Fuck this stupid tuning. F# and F, yeah but this is dumb.
Also can confirm at least one member of this band is sketchy af
| |
The tuning doesn't matter because it all sounds like muddy incoherent sludge.
| |
"Also can confirm at least one member of this band is sketchy af"
details? also i hate this band
| |
Never liked this band but I remember their earlier tracks to have at least a few tasty riffs every once in a while. this is absolutely obnoxious though
| |
