It's for the better. Band completely gave up their originality and energetic momentum after their debut.

Death to metalcore!
| |
what a band name
| |
saw this and thought it was a thread about hawks
jk hawks
| |
Hmm very strange considering they just released an album. It was shite though, and I'm pretty sure they would've continued along those lines anyway.
| |
asnidereturns should be pleased
| |
Guess they weren't so elite after all
| |
"Perennial metal core band"
"Almost 5 years together"
lol cmon guys
| |
5 years... pfft
| |
Yeah, definitely a case of an average metalcore band just calling it quits. Had some good songs here and there, but they never just had anything that you can call "that Elitist song."
| |
Makes sense. They've just been having a huge identity crisis. Every release has had a different sound and none of them were as good as their first EP.
| |
this band should have called it quits after the first ep
| |
asnidereturns should be pleased [2]
| |
good
| |
Finally
| |
they just couldn't handle all their elite cred
| |
derp squad elitest
| |
Havent there been like 3 core bands called elitist?
| |
sucks though. Texas In July, I The Breather and now Elitist?
| |
This band describes Sputnik to a tee
| |
probably about a year too late.
| |
"sucks though. Texas In July, I The Breather and now Elitist?"
err yeah, what a travesty
| |
"saw this and thought it was a thread about hawks"
Nah, it would have have to be followed by "Elitist actually doesn't call it quits, returns after a day."
| |
a metalcore band called "Elitist" is hilariously ironic
| |
went out on a sour note but sad news anyway
| |
'"sucks though. Texas In July, I The Breather and now Elitist?"
err yeah, what a travesty'
aye the first two rule and elitist has some good stuff
| |
I remember liking a song or 2 by elitist years ago, texas in july have never impressed me and neither have i the breather (who win the worst metalcore band name ever award)
| |
oh yeah i forgot you don't like abr that much so i guess it makes that you wouldnt dig....well really any of the three that much. they all worship abr on at least one, if not all their releases
| |
Caves and Reshape Reason were both pretty awesome, the rest is meh
| |
Reshape Reason was pretty goddamn good. Caves was awesome as well. Everything else they dropped though was either meh or just boring.
| |
for the better they fell off hard after Reshape Reason
| |
agreed. Between the Balance wasn't too bad...just very meh. Their most recent album though....unlistenable.
| |
"for the better they fell off hard after Reshape Reason"
They fell off hard after Caves. How a band could go from an excellent debut EP to shit after shit album after that is beyond me.
| |
reshape reason is their best for sure
| |
caves is their best. the song structures / musicianship were fucking awesome and no one can dispute that sanely
| |
already been proven wrong
| |
Reshape Reason is Caves on steroids
| |
Reshape Reason was their best. That album ruled.
| |
these guys were total garbage so i don't care.
