Shoegaze? They're more alt rock.

These guys are heavily influences by the pumpkins, I wouldn't consider this anywhere close to full on shoegaze.

Love carnavas and swoon but this song isn't too impressive, actually finding it rather generic sounding.

Eerie is a good way to describe their sound. It suits them really well.

I always liked the word "fuzzy" to describe SSPU although this song does give off an eerie/dark vibe.
