never got the appeal of this band tbh

they were an important gateway band for a lot of metalheads (myself included). Their first few albums, especially Hatebreeder and Follow The Reaper, are really solid still. Gonna jam those now I think

well i have fond memories of my at that time best friend who got me into in flames, for only months later abandon them and only listen to bodom from there on. i didn't liked them back then and i dont really do now either.

I actually liked RRF but Halo of Blood was superior in every way. If this is indicative of the new record then I'll be very, very happy.

I'm not comparing the two in quality but this definitely reminds me of something from RRF soundwise. This has better production though.

I like my Bodom fast and neoclassical.

OK track, production could have been a bit meatier and the drums more versatile

Not terrible, but the album artwork is top notch.

this was pretty boring. CoB excel when they're doing fast shreddy bs, not mid-paced junk.

Could be cut down a minute or so and it's still not on the level of the first 3 or 4 albums but I'm really enjoying this. The atmosphere is fantastic. Gives off that campy horror vibe that Bodom were known for back in the day.

This wasn't as good as I expected sadly, needs some album context but wasn't really feeling it.
