I loved their debut, but could never really get into anything after that.
| |
like the song, love the album art
| |
Saw the title and initially thought of the character from Darkstalkers. Anyway, this is a very good track.
| |
Nothing special
| |
It's great.
| |
pretty boring...not terrible
| |
ironic that the album is titled i worship chaos but their music is so technical and calculated
| |
Relentless Reckless Forever part 2. Quite good.
| |
More Bodom is always a good thing /m/
| |
never got the appeal of this band tbh
| |
they were an important gateway band for a lot of metalheads (myself included). Their first few albums, especially Hatebreeder and Follow The Reaper, are really solid still. Gonna jam those now I think
| |
well i have fond memories of my at that time best friend who got me into in flames, for only months later abandon them and only listen to bodom from there on. i didn't liked them back then and i dont really do now either.
| |
Relentless Reckless Forever part 2.
Fuck no, this sounds way better than anything on that atrocity.
Either way this is a pretty sweet song. Halo of Blood ruled and restored my faith in Bodom so I'm looking forward to this album.
| |
I actually liked RRF but Halo of Blood was superior in every way. If this is indicative of the new record then I'll be very, very happy.
| |
Fuck no, this sounds way better than anything on that atrocity.
Not My Funeral is better than this
| |
^To be fair you could have put Not My Funeral on HCDR.
| |
That lead during the chorus man...
| |
this will probably be a 3 or so
halo of blood was a once off
| |
@Hawks
I'm not comparing the two in quality but this definitely reminds me of something from RRF soundwise. This has better production though.
| |
I like my Bodom fast and neoclassical.
| |
OK track, production could have been a bit meatier and the drums more versatile
| |
"Halo of Blood was a once off"
That and all the awesome albums they'd made before RRF
| |
3/5 got kinda stale at parts, lacked any soul or enthusiasm
where are the yowyow's
| |
pretty much average
| |
Chorus is so good.
| |
Still haven't listened to the track but the article got me to jam hatebreeder to hcdr today so it gets kudos for that
| |
Sweet, most their music is enjoyable
| |
super quiet video
| |
What is this, first Cradle and now this? Awesome month so far.
| |
Not terrible, but the album artwork is top notch.
| |
this was pretty boring. CoB excel when they're doing fast shreddy bs, not mid-paced junk.
| |
Could be cut down a minute or so and it's still not on the level of the first 3 or 4 albums but I'm really enjoying this. The atmosphere is fantastic. Gives off that campy horror vibe that Bodom were known for back in the day.
| |
soon they will have all the colors of the rainbow
| |
I loved their debut, but could never really get into anything after that.
I couldn't agree more, Something Wild is among my most precious metal memories from the late '90s.
| |
Hatebreeder is best
| |
This wasn't as good as I expected sadly, needs some album context but wasn't really feeling it.
| |
Loved Halo of Blood, so my hopes for this new album are pretty high. I'll listen to this track later today.
| |
the track is okay but not very memorable.
| |
^ sums up everything bodom has done in the last 10 years
| |
I really dig that verse riff/melody
| |
Did anyone look at the lyrics of the song? Holy hell!
"Haunting nitemares follow thru"
Really Alexi?!
| |
I ain't hating on the music. I kind of like the new song. But has he always spelled words like a hot topic customer and I've never noticed? Or is this a new development?
| |
This is why he shouldn't put out lyric videos.
