Schizophrenia is a very real and scary thing. It doesn't usually hit until you're in your mid to late twenties, so I think that's probably about how old this dude is. A guy who I used to take guitar lessons from has schizophrenia and at one point during an episode, he was found naked running along a highway. When he was asked what he was doing, he said he was trying to run away because the cellphone towers were sending cancer to his brain. He's been arrested over and over for doing weird, crazy things in public and he pretty much refuses to take his medicine or stay in a psych ward.
