Toro Y Moi streams new album 2015-04-01 by PappyMason | 8 Comments | What For?, Chaz Bundick’s fourth album under the moniker Toro y Moi is now available to stream over at NPR.
Never one to stand still, musically-speaking, What For? sees the musician pursue a warm, fuzzed-out strain of '70s power-pop, occasionally intermixed with '90s indie-rock jangle. Like Bundick’s previous releases, What For? makes for a prefect springtime/summer listen.
What For? is out on the 7th April, via Carpark.

Whaaaat? Had no idea he's releasing a new album. Listening now!
| | | I wasn't really expecting much from this, and tbh, it isn't that great. Probably worth a listen just to hear how his sound has changed. Chaz is still a decent songwriter, mind you.
