SikTh vocalists leaving

2007-05-10 by Confessed2005 | 13 Comments
SikTh have announced that their forthcoming UK tour (w/ Architects, Cryforsilence, Ted Maul and others) will be their last with the current line-up.

Mikee and Justin have decided they want to pursue other ventures, such as other projects and production duties.

However, the band are not splitting up and will be looking for replacements.

More information can be found at the band's myspace page.

Sikth won't be the same without mikee's eccentrics and justin's range really.

As long as they keep Pin with his sweet leads, I think they can manage getting replacements even though the vocalists made the band more unique.

One of the most interesting bands around.

The vocals were unique, but that doesn't mean they were good. They were actually quite horrid.

No offense to Sikth, but I wasnt a big fan of the vocals (especially the singing). I recently bought Death of a Dead Day and was thoroughly impressed with the musicianship. But his vocals sound like Jon Davis (a little bit, dont freak out on me Sikth fanboys!).

^^^ I can definitely understand where you are coming from with that.

However, I did love Justin's awesome range and Mikee's out-and-out craziness.

Which vocalist are you talking about, you do know that there are two vocalists? i don't see how the vocals are bad or even sound remotely like jon davis and they gave another layer to the music I think.
