The songs sound like session rejects from a better album. The lyrics are awful because Dave wrote them so fast. The songs fall flat without the TV show context. I'm hesitant to even consider it a real Foos album.

I like it a lot. Really catchy songs with some overall good songwriting. Not much in the way of innovation but it's Foo Fighters so I didn't really expect anything mind-blowingly new and unheard of.

1st foo fighters record has some cool tunes like exhausted and weenie beenie that are pretty far removed from the fisher price rock he's making now and actually sound informed by some of the stuff he talks about on the hbo show

i guess i care, but not enough to bother listening. i'll admit that when i posted 'christ WHO FUCKING CARES', i was a bit drunk. i guess my indifference is that the release was too soon. it feels like it was last week when people were jerkin off over wasting light, but i never really had time or felt compelled to listen to it. i'll just stick with nirvana and say fuck foo fighters. also FearThyEvil, you take comments on the internet seriously and that's just sad.
