ehh
| |
Not their finest work, but it's decent.
| |
Typical Sputnik reactions.
Sounds good so far.
| |
So is this good? the other single i listened to was weak
| |
I might review this, sounds decent so far.
| |
This is one you and I will not fight over ;)
| |
MH is as MH does, I suppose? They've been making the same album for like 10 years, really disappoints me when bands make like no progression of sound.
12 song, 70 minute thrash metal albums should be punishable by death.
| |
They've hardly been doing the same sound, weren't they semi nu metal early on?
| |
did you read the first half of my sentence?
| |
They were groove/thrash metal at first, then nu-metal, then progressive thrash/groove metal.
| |
ty talons, sputniks resident genre expert! :D
| |
Considering groove metal is sometimes known as post-thrash you could just call them progressive post-thrash
| |
so you just mean the last decade? guess I got hasty. I've only listened to their newer albums anyway, dunno when they stopped with the nu metal shit exactly.
| |
"progressive post-thrash" god kill me
| |
check burn my eyes dude its their best
| |
Alright cool
| |
I wanna review this but by the time I let this sink in there will probably already be a few so meh
| |
Sail into the Black is fucking sick.
| |
Ah cool. Way to just not post my news article.
| |
^^ speaking of which Psycroptic has a new single to be posted...
| |
Eyes of the Dead...I think Rob really enjoys hanging out with Bodom.
| |
Hey
| |
"really disappoints me when bands make like no progression of sound."
Apparently you didn't hear their past progression of sound. I'll be happy if they make a million of these records rather than write one more rap metal song.
| |
oh my fucking god CLEARLY, IF YOU READ THE FULL SENTENCE I'm just talking about their last 4 albums that all sound exactly the same. yes obviously they are better than the burning red but that doesnt mean they have to be so fucking identical.
| |
I don't think they all sound the same. Ashes has a rawer sound to me, and The Blackening is The Blackening. Unto the Locust is really the only album that stands out as not really progressing. I'm still getting spins in on their new one, but so far its standing out as having its own unique twist. That being said, there are a few songs that are generic Machine Head, mainly the singles, and don't feel fresh at all.
| |
Nothing new the sun, but the band's sound is monstrous.
| |
It seems to be good, I'm gonna buy it.
| |
Soft.
