Production makes it sounds a bit thin. Some good shit here tho. The last track is 27 minutes that I didn't want any part of but it turned out pretty well. Haunting shit.

Turned out as well as i expected it to, and Observer is actually pretty good. I'll still probably just listen to my favorite tracks from Continent if i'm in that rare deathcore mood these days anyway, nothing really stands out on this one.

brings the ignorance, last half of the album rules hard, Observer is dope m/ way heavier (and
better) than their last few albums

Once again Putney has disappointed me production wise. Guitars just don't have any power to them.

I've listened to the whole thing and except for Observer, it has nothing of what made the previous three albums good, what little of it there was.

They didn't even try to make it interesting this time around. Just soulless junz and nothing else.

an old guilty pleasure band, and this record actually went pretty hard without playing cheerios on the 6th guitar string. 3/5?

Nothing new, but still good ol TAS. Seriously the only breakdown band I can dig hard on.

Hard to talk about breakdowns if they're whole songs you know. that makes them downtempo metal or something

They don't really play riffs dude

But the word "breakdown" has a meaning only if it's a part of a song that breaks it down

nothing breaks down Acacia songs, they're the same all the way through

Also, listen to ovid's withering - grothis, the insatiable. song is better in every way than anything from this album while remaining quite similar in style

I can't really see the comparison between the two but yeah ovdi is better by a wide margin
