Blood on the Dance Floor reveal two new LPs

2014-10-04 by ASnideReturns | 54 Comments
Electro-pop duo Blood on the Dance Floor have announced they will be releasing two new albums. The duo reportedly wanted to spread their creative wings and thus will each have a set album to work on individually - they are Dahvie Vanity's album, The Adventures of Skull Kid and Jayy Von Monroe's album, The Ten Commandments of Sex, Hate and Religion.

Both albums are due to be released by the beginning of 2015 or earlier.

You can check out 'The Reckoning' off The Adventures of Skull Kid here:

Man, it's almost like this song was trying to be good but Dahvie has to go ahead and make sure that his vocals blandly dance off a bland synth sweep beat. Maybe if he takes some inspiration from Luis Dubac and Rabbit Junk he can actually make a decent/good album.

his voice sounds hella studio-enhanced in that song, Snide. I could sound like a pop star too if I paid some dude to remix my voice, and my voice sounds terrible.

the guys are popular and clearly they have money. Using that "lifeline" excuse doesn't really work, since I'm sure by now the guy has as many real "lifelines" as he could need. Cut the chord, no excuses.

Guys, we all need to SUPPORT the album of JAY! If it will become significantly more successful than Dahvies, this criminal pedoscum might vanish from public attention since their management will notice that nobody needs him for making money!

LoLifant

Oh, well then, might be even better. Jay could finally realise that he doesn't need Dahvie and even would be better without him. No management to hold him back going solo.

I mentioned in that same post that Jayy has extreme social anxiety.

He has a well-paying job and easy access to individuals that should be able to help him with support issues
(either professional or non). Dahvie being a longtime friend is no reason to keep him as a "lifeline" when
he should clearly be able to find those necessary supports elsewhere. If he has no other friends than this
guy, then that's his fault, but it's still no excuse to hang around and make music with a guy so often
accused of sexual assault and indecency.

Thanks for the info on Jayy, Snide. I always listen to BOTDF's releases for lulz (and to remind myself just how awful music can be), but hey, if there's a redeeming quality to half of this, all the better.
