Flyleaf stream new album

2014-09-11 by Shiranui | 14 Comments
After 2 years of musical abstinence and the release of "New Horizons" back in 2012,
Flyleaf are back in the game with their newest effort, entitled "Between The Stars".
The album's release date is set on September 16th, but it also marks the bands very first effort since the loss of former singer Lacey Sturm.

The complete album can be streamed here:

@Rogue yep, was her last album.

Album is not bad, especially if you're into mellow alt rock or pop. Nothing special obv, but has a few decent tracks.

I'm going to be honest: I liked Flyleaf, even at their obnoxiously Jesusiest, but by picking a new singer, they could have at least picked someone that would mesh well with their current sound. This new singer sounds far too poppy, like a high-pitched Krystal Meyers. I would have been happier with someone like Juliet Simms. Her voice at least sounds similar enough to Lacey's and she already does rock, so it'd work out well, if she would be comfortable with the whole Jesusy thing.
