Surprisingly good

Great blend of old/new Interpol, i'm officially hyped.
|
| |
Wow didn't expect this to be so good
|
| |
Blame it on the low expectations, but after the first listen I'm thinking it's one of the best things they've done since Antics.
|
| |
I don't know much about this band but I actually kind of loved that.
Gonna check out their first album now.
|
| |
The up-tempo part blindsided me. I love it.

I've only listened to a few songs off their first album, and I have to say, I have really loved 'Anywhere' and this song, I'm actually pretty excited for this now. The guitar in 'Anywhere' especially just had me hooked.
|
| |
This is pretty sweet.
|
| |
much better than i expected
|
| |
awesome song
|
| |
that was good
|
| |
great song

"Great blend of old/new Interpol, i'm officially hyped."
Sounds just about right. That was awesome.
|
| |
What's with the positivity? It's a bit more uptempo than usual, but come on, it's still the same damn song they've been playing for the last ten years. I like some of their songs, but I've listened to their first two albums several times over and I still can't tell 75% of the tracks apart.
|
| |
i'm very impressed that you're too cool for this song. i thoroughly apologize for my lame ass liking it
|
| |
it's ok
|
| |
Diggin the shit out of that.
|
| |
Best song they've written in ages, tentatively very excited. Just don't throw another Safe Without in
there guys.
|
| |
Lost my shit when I heard this live and now I just relost my shit.
|
| |
OMG MY MAN IS PLAYING BASS
UGGGGHHHH SOOOOOO FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOD
|
| |
This song makes me very excited for the album
|
| |
Nah, the self-titled is not that bad, it has some awful tracks, but Success, Lights, Barricade and Always Malaise (and to some extent The Undoing) are great songs.
|
| |
i didn't realize paul was playing bass on this when i first watched it
|
| |
shockingly alright song, officially kinda looking forward to the new album
absolutely adore their debut, sadly everything they've done since has been mostly disappointing. i'll be happy if this ends up being at least decent

rofl no

he just doesn't get it

"Nah, the self-titled is not that bad, it has some awful tracks, but Success, Lights, Barricade and Always Malaise..."
I stopped right there. HATED that song. I'll switch it out for Try It On, then agree with you.
|
| |
ATRBH is definitely a return to form. Paul's actually a decent bass player.
Also, I'd agree with Gringo that Try It On is far superior to Always Malaise.
|
| |
Try it on is one of my favorites. Always Malaise is cringe worthy to me.
I'm not digging this song too much, Its alright.
|
| |
I love the change of pace at the last minute of Always Malaise, that's why I kinda dig it.
|
| |
I can never get that far :p but it is cool
|
| |
this misses carlos, banks is a totally uninspired bassist
good song though otherwise
|
| |
^ well the bass is taking place of rhythm guitar that Paul would normally play, so you can't have all the fancy licks that Dengler/Kessler wrote
|
| |
sure you could
