except don't because the song is trash

God how did this band turn to such cancer
|
| |
Best song I've heard from them. I thought the worse than I heard it and it was actually good. You can only go up after their last album!
|
| |
the 2nd half was far superior to the first
|
| |
I'm excited for this to hear Brian Sella, Jeremy Bolm, and Aaron Weiss
|
| |
I love the song. This may very well end up being my AOTY.
|
| |
garbage
|
| |
No guitars are being used on the new album. Wow.
I enjoyed the song though.
|
| |
At first I was hesitant about having guest vocalists for each track, but Keith Buckley, Jeremy Bolm? Damn.
Song's not bad. Will probably be a grower.
|
| |
wow, that guestlist is pretty awesome.
song isn't awful, not very good either though.
|
| |
p bad song, didn't expect much though because of their post IARB work
|
| |
wtf is this guestlist
|
| |
Andy Hull and Max Bemis sounds good...
but all you guys be hatin on it.
Will give it a spin later.
|
| |
I liked it, but I'm not sure how I feel about there being no guitars on the album. I mean this song had what sounded like a guitar solo but was apparently a synth, so why not just use a guitar? Seems like a gimmick. I don't know.
|
| |
Fuck, this is... something. I actually didn't mind Anarchy but I'm not sure what to think of this yet. I hope this will grow on me.
|
| |
they make one iffy album and you all become turncoats.
andcas' comment on an old SA news article
|
| |
Sing it, guys!
MY CAR AND MY GUI-
oh.
|
| |
I wanted to like this, but
|
| |
thread is shit but song is good
|
| |
Yeah nah not feeling it
|
| |
Didn't really like it on first listen, listened to it a couple times more and it's kind of alright now. Hope the rest will be a lot better.
|
| |
I've never wanted to change my username more than after hearing that awful, awful song
|
| |
^^ since guitar doesn't exist on this album
|
| |
i really wanna like it but max is making it really hard :[
his voice sounds so awful now
|
| |
song rules hard
|
| |
I don't think Say Anything are ever going to recover from Anarchy, My Dear. I really liked this actually, pretty optimistic for the album - just don't think people will give them the chance.
|
| |
last minute is so good
|
| |
never going to be as good as IARB again it seems. but I am super curious to hear the tracks with Brian Sella and Tom Delonge.
|
| |
album will rule
|
| |
Was not too happy with Anarchy... didn't even finish the entire album :/.
|
| |
No guitar...wat?
I need to hear this now.
|
| |
First half of the song was meh.
Definitely thought Andy Hull's part was cool. I can't wait to hear Aaron Weiss, Keith Buckley, and Jeremy Bolm's parts. It'll at least be interesting.
|
| |
not too bad. better than anything on anarchy. not liking the heavy religious themes, though, tbh. also, having sherri dupree on so many tracks is gonna SUCK. fuck husband/wife duets.
|
| |
several of the features sound cool, but andy hull's felt completely out of place here, imo.
|
| |
"not liking the heavy religious themes, though, tbh"
yeah hopefully it's not too on the nose through the whole album
|
| |
Imagine how much better this could have been if those crappy synths and keyboards were replaced with guitars
|
| |
What's with the synths D:
|
| |
not going to lie: im optimistic about the new album
unwarranted optimism, sure, but hey
|
| |
me too
|
| |
smae
|
| |
pre5d
|
| |
tried to enjoy this but it's really fuckin lame
|
| |
Why did Tom DeLonge agree to be on this album and why did The Front Bottoms agree to tour with these guys?
EDIT: Good lord that song was sloppy as fuck.
|
| |
let's not question the artistic integrity of the visionary behind angels and airwaves k?
|
| |
Well, I like AvA so.....
|
| |
Feature list is cool as hell and the song is fairly interesting but holy shit the album sounds like a complete stunt. I always thought what separated good Say Anything from shitty indie pop was that punk spirit!/ but now that they're breaking down that barrier I just hope this doesn't turn out like a really happy version of Angels & Airwaves. tl;dr bring back the guitars.
Having said all that, the songwriting on "Six Six Six" is well done, and Max sounds as good as ever; there's a real fire in his voice. Anyway, the song evolves extremely well and plays like a journey, moving through a bunch of not-that-predictable sections but tying them all together with a sense of purpose. If the whole album plays like that, the song could very well be one of its key components.
|
| |
am i the only one tired of sherri dupree voice? like its starting to get annoying to me now, i didn't mind her on "Say Anything" but the last album and this one it's too much man, we get it u love ur wife, but i dnt see max on any new eisley tracks?
