New Zookeeper Album Stream

Folk pop band Zookeeper is now streaming their new album on their Bandcamp profile. The band, which is fronted by Ex-Mineral and The Gloria Record vocalist and guitarist Chris Simpson, has released one previous full length album and one EP.

Honestly, this album is just bad. His drawn out vocal style makes it seem like there's no defining melody. It's a shame because the first Zookeeper EP was incredible, one of my favorite recordings of all time. I don't know why they bothered recording "Two Part Invention" again because the vocals are god-awful this time around, it's like the demo for the original recording.

Definitely check out the first EP if you're a fan of Mineral and you haven't already, you won't be disappointed at all.
