Why hate them because 3/4 of them are from Creed? That makes no sense, the only hateable person from Creed was Scott Stapp, and he's not even in this band. So stfu.

i like alter bridge too... minus their first single that purposefully (i'm sure) sounded just like creed

I've always been a fan of Mark Tremonti's work and on AB's first album had what I liked about Creed. Now that AB is Wind Up free, this really does have a chance to shine.
