Jordan Blake's New Metal Band

2013-08-09 by Mr Bean | 19 Comments
Jordan Blake, known for his work in many post hardcore bands, as well as being a familiar face in the
electronic music scene, has created a new heavy band to work your ears, known as Speak Of The Devil.

Jordan is well-known for being in A Skylit Drive in 2007, Watchout! There's Ghosts in 2008-2010, and
Trances from 2010-2011. His latest work was through his own name under a solo act.
The band have released their first song, entitled 'YUCK', and is the first official release from the band's new
EP, coming out in September.

However, the band released a demo track on New Years 2013 entitled "American Whore Story".

You can view them here.

Jordan will never be able to redeem himself after that abomination he created with Etienne.

+ he sucks.

Props for pretty much the most cliched band name possible. Might as well name an album This is War or For the Fallen.

This is right up there with his stuff from A Skylit Drive, and definitely much better than the Etienne Sin stuff. Everyone can have their own opinion, but I see these as improvements.

beginning sounds like bmth's "can you feel my heart" and the ending sounds like "hospital for souls"

Doesn't matter if you like it or not, unless you're andcas writing a joke article you need to be impartial in the article. Then you can be as biased as you want in the comments.

Sounds like standard Post-Hardcore to me. Just poor work in my opinion. The vocals have a nice tone but I really can't say anything else is good about this.

I apologize for making it sound biased haha. This was my first news post, and I actually appreciate
the feedback to help improve myself for the future.

And just to clear things up about the "electronic music scene", he's actually pretty well known in the
california area, and works with a lot of DJs such as the group Foolish Ways, as well as Hunter Moore
haha.
